Any good/bad reviews on the 09 Hyundai Accent?

I’m about to get one mainly for the MPG it gets and wondering if there’s anything i should know about this car.

What’s a good car for under $10,000?

I am a 16 year old girl looking for my first car. I’m going absolutely insane as time and time again I find a car, but my dad doesn’t approve, or I find a car and the reviews are terrible. I just want a cute, used car, for under $10,000 (closer to $8,000 would be preferred), with great safety ratings and good gas mileage. I’m buying used, so the car needs to hold it’s value. I’m basically looking for the perfect car I guess. . but I’m beginning to doubt that I’ll be able to find the car for what I want. I just need to be pointed in the right direction; I’m hoping there’s a car that fits all my criteria that I just haven’t seen yet. I will probably be carting kids around, I love bright exterior colors, and it has to be ‘07 or older. I just need some ideas, any advice would be great. Thanks!
P. S. I love VW bugs, the cutesy style and cars like that. (My dad said no to the bug). I’m also looking into Honda Civics, because I like them a lot, but Hondas seem to be more expensive.

know if Attack of the Show on G4TV is having a special 420 episode today?

my favourite TV show called Attack of the Show is usually about video games, movies, Bluray reviews, cars and comics, but every year for 420 (20th day of the 4th month) they usually have a funny and interesting 420 special episode. Anyone know if there is another special episode planned to air today?

Shopping for a new Family Car?

Ok I have been shopping for a new family car, I wanted to go with a ford explorer sport trac, but the safety reviews SUCK! Anyhow while I was shopping I found a 2002 FORD EXPLORER for 10,995 and it has 31,000 miles on it. Is it just me or is this ONE HELL OF A DEAL??? Interior and exterior looks to be in excellent condition. I am hesitant because it seems awfully cheap. . . . . . . WHat do you think?
I should add that this is a dealership, not sure if it makes much difference, but it isn’t an independent seller. . . . . .
The reason I am looking at ford is because I am mainly concerned with the safety rating. The EXPLORER has one of the highest marks.
3 year warranty or 36,000 miles. . . .

car definitions?

When watching and hearing reviews about cars I hear a lot of words and sometimes I just don’t know what they mean like dual over whatever that is. . . can anyone show me a site where it tells me all these types of definitions?

Reviews on 2001 Chrysler Sebring LXi with Auto-Shift transmission?

I’m shopping used cars and found a great 2001 Sebring LXi coupe with the V6 3. 0L engine. I’m not familiar with the auto-shift transmission though and wonder if anyone has one and if they like it or have had problems with it? Or any mechanics out there that would care to comment about them? The car has only 75K on it. Thanks!

Car or truck? Economic verses conveinant?

I am a college student, 19, female and looking for a reliable car/truck

I have 7000 in my savings to use, I’m planning on buying private (most likely)

I am stuck right now on what to get. I’ve been looking at smaller fuel efficient cars (civic, aveo, etc) But more and more I’ve been thinking about a small truck (like a tacoma). I will be moving apartments within the next 6 months, and then again after another year. Although a truck isn’t as efficient as a smaller car is it a good sacrifice if I know i’ll be doing a lot of moving in the next 5-10 years?

I found a nice 2000 regular cab tacoma I like, its got pretty good reviews, about 85000 miles, and from what i’ve read 20 mpg w/o a load. Does this seem like a good investment? (owner is asking 7500 obo). Of course I want to test drive it and see how it handles and such

So. . . car or truck? And recommendations? I want decent mpg, below 100,000 miles, air, and ‘nice’ looking. lol

Thanks
I’d like to also add, that while renting a truck sounds nice. . .

Its rediculous to try and rent any vehicle if you’re under the age of 25. They add fees of 100+ per day

Need help with physics question: A car travels 35 km west, 90 km north. What distance did it travel?

I know these questions are very simple and this is just review for me, but Im forgetting the concept, of what I should be doing with the numbers, and what “direction” the final answer can be, and how to determine this. Should I be doing it like this: d=d1 – d2, d=35-90, d= -55 (west or east??) or is this even right? Other questions that I have trouble with are: An airplane flies 250 km at 300 m/s. How long does this take? A skydiver falls 3 km in 15s. How fast are they going? (I keep forgetting the formula to get speed given distance and time or speed and time or time and distance). A car travels 35 km west, 90 km north in two hours. What is its average speed? A car travels 35 km west, 90 km north in two hours. What is its average velocity?
Ahh sorry I ment to say displacement for the first one, not distance. Corrected: A car travels 35 km west, 90 km north. What is it’s displacement? What would be a detailed process to get the displacement of this question and similar questions like this.

The interior lights of my 1999 Oldsmobile Alero won’t go off when I turn off my car…why not?

The lights inside of my car won’t go off. The lights are located underneath the review mirror and also the lights located by my gas/ break area. Does anyone have an explanation for this or do these lights just tend to stay on for a long time?
