5-speed & Carburetor In An ‘89 Crown Vic With A 5.0 Efi?

I want to put a 5-speed in my old LTD. I know what’s involved in such a swap, but I need to know which transmissions (year, model) will bolt up to my motor without any drilling or machining. Can I use the flywheel from the auto? ALSO, I want to change out the EFI for a carburetor, what intakes will fit my EFI heads, and what problems can I expect? This thing will be a modern rat rod, whether the parts come from a truck or a mustang is not that important. I would prefer a 4bbl intake, though. Thanks/

Don’t know much else, but you will need the manual flywheel. It’s very different in nature from the automatic’s flexplate. About any 5.0 Fox Mustang T-5 5-speed and bellhousing will bolt to your 302. Don’t know ’bout the pedal assembly. You can pull your throttle body off and stick a 2-bbl right on till you find your intake and 4-V. I’d buy a rolled 5.0 5-speed to get everything. This is gonna be so kool when you get it done. LTD GT!
