Cheap car repairs gas etc… plus high safety rating. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY please.?

I just totaled my Mercedes ML 430. A 19 year old kid pulled out in front of me. I’m wanting to go with something that has a good record of not needing repairs, and is cheap to repair when necessary. It needs to be good on gas and not too ugly. I’d prefer a car under $5,000 so I can pay cash and not have a monthly car payment. Any ideas?

You could stick to the basics such as Camrys, Accords, Civics, Corollas. Or you can find a 90’s Lexus.

  2. My top pick would be an early/mid 90s Accord, top notch.

  3. Like others said, I would 1st recommend the Honda Accord (sedan or coupe V6 or 4 cylinder) Honda Civic, Toyota Camry or Corolla.
If you want something as reliable, and still good on gas that is a little more sportier, I would suggest the Honda Prelude, CRX or Toyota Celica for FWD vehicles, and the the Honda S2000 for RWD.
The person who suggested the early 90’s Lexus’s made a good suggestion, but buying parts for those is going to be more expensive than other companies.
    Good Luck.

  4. well you could look in the newspaper and see if any cars that you like is in there. ( in classify. )

a dodge neon is a good car great on miles, gas, four door, and etc.

if not then look at the car that are out there buy the road or go to a car auction and see what they may have.

  5. go on a bus. then go to a store for cars. then you could find a cheap car. then you could buy it if you love it. then say if you could drive it home. and if he say yes then drive it home. or you could call won of your friends and see if they can bring a rope and tie it to the car that you will buy and drag it home.
