Somebody told me once that any car with over 100 miles on it is used. True or not? What about a model from last year with less than 100 miles on it. Is it still new?

Where I live, they don’t get very many of them, and there are very few private sellers willing to sell their own Vettes.

My question is it next to impossible to negotiate on this brand new car? Keep in mind that if I buy this car, they have to build the car from scratch, which would take 2-3 weeks to complete. Because it’s built from scratch and it’s rare, I figured this would cause the car’s MSRP to be “fixed. ” (MSRP is $68,000CDN)

If it was used, I would be able to negotiate better because a car’s cost varies depending on condition, mileage, mods, etc so I can state my suggested price more easily, but a brand new car is exactly the same as any brand new Vette, so the MSRP is rather rigid.

So should I just give up trying to negotiate on a brand new car or are there any tips on doing so?
