  1. Get the VIN and check it at carfax.com.

  2. If you are getting it at a dealer you have the right to ask for a free Carfax Report free, do it before you buy it. And sometimes when you buy it out in the streets you buy a car without knowing if it’s been in an accident (also known as ALVISH) , and people who buy like that get the surprise because when they transfer ownership in the Certificate Title saying it’s ALVISH. And when cars are ALVISH they tend to selll cheaper too.

  3. There are two ways to do this. Pay for a Carfax report. This is about 90% accurate. Or you can have a certified auto mechanic inspect the car for signs of body work, new paint, welding or frame repairs. This is also about 90% accurate.
Do them both and you’ll get close to 100% sure.

  4. There is a site.
The site where the car is sitting at.
Just look up under the car for signs of damage.
    Duh.

  5. Carfax will most likely tell you although not guaranteed. There is one other one also I can’t remember the name.

  6. Try Carfax.com
